...I loved how you got the whole crowd involved, especially the cow bell piece.  That was hilarious!   I will gladly recommend you to anyone that wants a PARTY for their wedding, not some stuffy reception! ...

It's been a while since we've checked in.  October was great for us.......we got around the Carolinas a bit and met some great folks at some outstanding shows.  November is traditionally our slowest month of the year.  Even though we aren't playing as many shows, we are still working.  This is when we add new material, make plans for next year and take care of a lot of behind the scenes stuff....equipment repairs and other boring tasks.

Also, it's been a while since we posted any new client comments.  We've gotten so many great references this year that they are almost too difficult to keep up with.  We'll probably compile a 2008 Client Comment list soon.  But, here are the latest comments from just last month.  A big thanks to everyone who wrote and shared their White Chocolate experiences.

Client comments from our 3 receptions in October 2008:

Guys,

I know it is a little late, but Billy and I wanted to thank you so much for playing at our wedding! Wedding Bands can sometimes be tricky to pick and we went off hearing your clips on the website. Our guests had an absolute BALL at our reception! They loved you guys!! Everyone at our wedding was dancing, even my 94 year old Great Grandmother!!! You guys really listened to our music tastes and requests. We are so happy that White Chocolate played at our wedding. You guys DEFINITELY brought the party. Thanks so much for everything!!!

You guys rocked the house last week! Thanks for being a part of our wedding celebration.  Every time somebody mentions the wedding the first thing they say is "White Chocolate was the best!".

Thanks again,

Andy & Tracy Greenberg

Frank,
John and I just wanted to send a HUGE thank you for the great sounds you gave to us at the wedding. It was AMAZING... We had such a great time and our guests just RAVED About you all night and the morning after. You made the wedding a HUGE party and we all had a great time with you.
I can't thank you enough for the wonderful entertainment you gave my day.... Thank you.

Michelle & John Elliott

Thanks for stopping by.  Tomorrow we head to Chapel Hill, NC.  We've spent a bit more time in the Triangle this year........it's nearly surpassed our trips to the Charleston area for us.  We're big ACC fans so that's okay.  Have a great weekend.........more coming soon.

9-26-08

Tonight we're in Raleigh playing for our old friend Dave Holm and the Sigma Chi's from NC State.  It is their 65th anniversary.  We played the 60th as well.  Hopefully, we're the early favorite for the 70th!  Tomorrow it the KA's at Wake Forest.  Basically, an all ACC weekend for us.

Also, we recently had our annual WCB version of Charlotte's Greekfest.  Jimmy Z, our drummer, hails from a large Greek family and we're fortunate that his mother visits Charlotte often and appears to like us.  Last Sunday she put out a spread that you just would not believe.  We ate, napped, ate more, napped and ate again.  Mama Z is a master and we're so lucky to have her.  In honor of Mama Z......here's Bill's dream....

8-20-08

We'll be in downtown Charlotte this Thursday for the Alive After Five party.  Check our calendar page for details and a link to the website for the event.  This is the final event of the summer.  Come out and hang with us!  The event starts early and ends early.....so no excuses......

We hope to see you there!

We played Furman University in Greenville, SC this past Thursday evening.  They have a great event each Thursday at a beautiful amphitheater on the campus.  Because of rain the outdoor event was scratched.  Usually when these events get moved indoors you play in a cafeteria or gymnasium.  Not this time.  They moved our concert to the multi-million dollar McAlister Auditorium.  Only one word to describe this place.....wow!

We performed for a seated audience of 500 in one of the most beautiful music venues we've ever seen.  The sound was awesome, the audience was outstanding and the people of Furman were great to us.  And did we mention the free food for everyone in attendance?  That's right, each Thursday at Furman the show is free and various Greenville businesses provide free food for the event.

We hope we'll have a chance to get back to Furman soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to our shows at O'hara's last weekend.  Lots of friends, family and business associates were in the house.  Attendance was great, audience response was terrific, the staff was thrilled and word is that we'll be going back.  We'll keep you posted.

This weekend...............the Charleston area.  Thanks for stopping by and we'll update the news soon.  Take care and have a great week.

It was a great time in Etowah, TN.  Definitely the perfect small town America Fourth of July celebration.  Very much like being in Mayberry.......despite the smallness of the town, a very large crowd showed up and stayed until the end.  We played 2 very long sets between the fireworks and we were totally drained by the end of the night.  Throw in 700 miles of driving in less than 24 hours and you've got a worn out band!

Also, many thanks to the many folks who are inquiring about (and booking) 2009 dates.  You can check our Calendar page to see if your date is still open.  Booking early can help insure that you get the entertainment you want for your event.  If you have questions, please don't hesitate to e-mail us.

This week...............2 public shows at the Ramada Inn (Woodlawn Rd.) in Charlotte, NC.  Here's a link for more info:  Ramada Inn Woodlawn Charlotte, NC

Again, we'll be there Friday and Saturday nights.  We'll be playing a big variety of music and hope to see you out there!  Have a great week.

We're gearing up for our big show in Etowah, TN.  Thanks to those of you from the Etowah area visiting our website.  We're looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.  Early weather reports seem favorable so we hope many folks make it out to the show.

Good things keep coming in from our recent trips to Atlanta.  We've received so many e-mails from our clients, but also vendors which is not the norm.  We're always happy to make new friends and the support of our new ones is great.

Great road trip this weekend..............Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA.  This week we head back to the Volunteer State.......it's been a while.  We'll be in Etowah, TN for their Fourth of July celebration.  From what we hear, it's a great one.  Also, we hear we'll have friends from the Carolinas and Georgia traveling to see us there.  We hope to see some familiar faces there.  Here's info from the town website:

We received a really nice e-mail from an audience member at our recent Atlanta show.  It was so nice we thought we'd share it with you.

Hey guys!  Just want to send you an email to tell you that I LOVED your performance last weekend at Katie and Whit's wedding.  Ya'll really put on an awesome show!  I have the pleasure of attending 9 weddings this year ... and your band is the BEST I've seen!  I could really see/sense how important you made each performance.  THANK YOU.

Ya'll Rock!

Best,
Sara
...wedding attendant :)

Thanks Sara for the nice words.  We have a lot of fun, but we do take each performance very seriously and do all we can to deliver a great time to our audience.  Again, thanks and we hope to see you soon.

Wow.........Atlanta was off the hook last weekend!  The Roberts/Morris reception at the Capitol City Country Club near Buckhead was one for the books.  One set lasted nearly 3 hours!  The audience wouldn't quit, so we didn't quit, either.  We wish Katie and Whit all the best for the future.

This weekend...............I-85 once again...........Greenville, SC on Friday night and back in Atlanta on Saturday.  More cool stuff coming to the site soon.  Thanks for stopping by.
